Welcome to another update from Elixir's voyage around the world!
We're currently sailing across the South Pacific, making stops at some of the remotest atolls in the world.
This leg of the journey is taking us through the dangerous middle (The South Pacific Convergence Zone), notorious for its rough and unsettled weather, and it's clear to see why.
From the lonely atoll of Suwarrow in the Cook Islands, we take off on a 500-mile sail to the town of Apia in the Cook Islands.

Hello guys, well I know that the videos are a bit late, but I'm attaching it anyway. There is a MOTUS 200 NM from Cape Mulinuu Western Samoa called Mata - Utu, I think it is one of the smallest in the Pacific, it is very well signposted and protected, and Gahi Bay is an excellent anchorage, from there to the SW you have Wallis and Futuna then Fiji. Amazing Mata Utu

A cool Wagnerian nod at 13.30 to Sir Charles 'Chay' Blyth who sailed, single-handed, westward around the world in 1970 on British Steel, built at Philip & Son Ltd., Dartmouth, Devon. Wagner's 'Ride of the Valkyries' is the regimental march of Blyth's regiment, the Parachute Regiment. My regiment too.
